A good day for Crypto is going to be a good day for the Bankroll Builder Challenge moving forward!
That’s because roughly 33% of my Assets right now are being held in $CROWN, $DEZ, and in a Coinbase account with varying ‘big’ Crypto coins.
This will be included in the write-ups, but you may see more fluctuation as opposed to my “Total” Numbers, but I promise everything is being recorded accurately.
Oh…. and it was ANOTHER incredibly lucky day in the Casino. You have to see it to believe it!
Day 13 (Feb. 17th, 2024) Results:
Day 13 started off with a Bankroll of $258.59, 1 Photo Finish Horse and 7 Zed Run Horses.
The “Sweepstakes” Casinos are an automatic daily bonus, easy enough to start there.
Sweeps Casinos:
Just to reflect on the whole “Sweeps Casinos” process — after 2 weeks of The Challenge; I’ve got a total of $37.90 built up on these 3 accounts. That’s not crazy money, but I would encourage those who live in a valid U.S. state to start picking up this easy cash.
If I was using this money alone, I’d be able to start dabbling in PF or a few other projects that come to mind — just for 0 effort and a few minutes of my time each day. Pretty cool.

Unfortunately, I had to put my bet in for the $10 Money-Back Race a few hours before “Lock” due to some real world commitments.
I didn’t pick the right chalk, and threw away probably $20-30 in the process. Whoops.
I placed a few other “IRL” Horse Bets, and came out slightly down for the day.

DraftKings Sportsbook/Casino
It was a ‘meh’ day with DraftKings. Here’s what I was on:
- Uconn -6.5 (+$3.81)
- TOR , U7.5 Goals (-$1.50)
- Man City, O2.5 Goals (-$1.50)
- PHI Flyers ML “Early Win Bonus” (-$1.00)
As you can see, if you’re good at math, that’s a -$0.19 all things considered. Again, whoops.

Also, I saw Zed’s tweet about moving fees to 5% only got 1 reply and 1 quote (the quote was from someone on their payroll lol). Rough times in the Twitter game for Zed.

I bought another PF Horse!
Here’s my Tweet that recaps how the Day 1 experience went:
Even if I can’t keep up this pace, it seems like a good buy at $26 (and especially at my new cost basis of $9.32) just because the cheapest 2-4 Year Old Horses on the Marketplace right now are sitting in the $50-55 range. That’s a pretty good buffer if I decide I need to flip it or if I’m starting to lose money with him.
Shoutout to Forgotten Avalon for being willing to make a deal & shoutout to PF for allowing Stables to add their Discord info to their Stable pages.
It’s way too easy for me to throw away some DERBY wagering on these PF Horses. I’m trying to be more selective with these decisions (as its the whole point of the Challenge) but today I threw away $3.00 trying to chase Prize Pools. I don’t know enough about Bloodlines or Performance to be doing that, so I’ve really gotta chill unless the Odds look way off.
In terms of my own Races, I had both “Astral Avenger” and Great Expectations” entered in Races — finishing with a 2nd (seen in the tweet above) and a 3rd Place for AA. Overall, probably made roughly $20.
All of these numbers are before the CROWN pump overnight; however just to be completely clear, CROWN fluctuations will be a part of my ‘bottom line’ number reported in this Section.
I should also mentioned, I added $12.50 worth of DERBY from ESPN Bet to make all of this happen.

I did something on ESPN yesterday that I don’t think I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I played my $1 “Daily Bonus” spin and hit 9 Free Spins and the 1st one included 14/15 “Wild Symbols” for a 48x ($48) win.
That’s borderline-mind-blowing to me… I grabbed the Screenshots because I couldn’t believe it:
That’s 3 of the past 4 days where I hit a 12x, 6x, and 48x on a single dollar spin. Idk if their machines are tiled or what, but I’m certainly loving it. It allowed for the PF Horse purchase above and led to another shockingly positive day in the Challenge.
But oh wait — there’s more!

By the end of the day, I had withdrawn $42.50 to send money to PF, DNA, and my Coinbase crypto holdings and we STILL ended up over $30 in Profits including that $42. ESPN has been a godsend.

I added $10 from ESPN to $DEZ and ate a bit of gas in the process.

Coinbase
I decided I want to add a bit of “traditional” Crypto holdings to the mix here with such early growth in the Challenge. I moved $20 into CB into Solana (staked at 5.01%), Polygon (staked at 2.39%) and Cosmos. (only because of its 9% APY staking rate)
I’m not sure if this is really in the spirit of the Challenge, but I never expected to grow my Bankroll this quickly honestly. I’ll probably start to store some USDC here at 5% if they continue to offer that just as a ‘safe space’ as well.
Coinbase — up $20.77
Day 13 Summary:
Another unbelievable day for the 365 Day Bankroll Builder Challenge. I’m feeling incredibly blessed that I started tracking it when I did, and I feel confident in the direction I’m heading overall.
The more assets that I allocate to simple ‘hodl’ tactics and in Crypto especially – this Challenge will see negative days. I’m certainly level headed enough to be aware of that, but so far so good and at the 2-week mark, I’m actually re-assessing some Goals that I had set. I honestly didn’t think I’d hit $340 as a Balance for a few months at least.
Really cool, really glad to be publishing this out each day.
Also wanted to note; I’ve gotten a few DM’s asking about getting involved with Photo Finish. I really don’t know that much about the game. I’m not using analytics or doing any deep research.
Bryce @SangudoStables is the obvious person to talk to if you want to get started. (PF is legit so smart and/or lucky to have him on Staff)
For my 2 cents, it’s best to do your own research and find an angle you want to take and then try to bounce that off of an experienced Player. They can then start to show you any flaws or maybe some things you haven’t thought about yet.
