Day 2: 365 Day Bankroll Builder Challenge

Welcome to Day 2 of the 365 Day Bankroll Builder Challenge!

Before we get started today — I just want to say how amazing it is that Zed Run has built a ‘marketplace’ where you click on a filter to select “Class 2” and the Search Results show you all different kinds of Horses. Class 4’s , Class 6’s.

And apparently it’s been this way for 2+ weeks. Wow, they suck.

Let’s get to the results for Day 2!

Day 2 (Feb. 6th, 2024) Results:

Day 2 started off with a Bankroll of $20.51 and 6 Zed Run Horses.

The “Sweepstakes” Casinos are an automatic daily bonus, easy enough to start there.

Sweeps Casinos:

The big win here today was on Chumba where a $1 bonus + a $1 Blackjack win turns into a solid up $2 for the day.

  • Pulsz – up $0.20
  • Stake – up $0.97
  • Chumba – up $2.00

Pokerstars:

Pokerstars has a nice ‘Play $1 get a Casino Bonus” feature going on – I hit my $1 roulette spin (Red) and then unfortunately only won a whopping $0.04 on the Classic Slot.

Pokerstars – up $1.04

Fanduel:

Day 2 was another bad one for FanDuel. Again, I was far too confident in my ability to handicap a Horse Race, losing another $5 on a “Bet Back Special”. The Bankroll is too small to be withstanding these $5 losses, I will be switching to $2 or $3 tomorrow.

The weird Gronk spins gave us $0.37 in winnings and luckily I was able to find a random dollar in the Promos section that had a bunch of latin ‘placeholder’ text. I was able to put a bet in with and then immediately cash it out … Weird, but I’ll take $1 to offset the loss here.

FanDuel – down $3.63

DraftKings:

Nothing interesting was going on with DK last night.

I did select a square for their free “Squares Pool” Wrangler $40k Contest — but other than that, no activity here.

DraftKings – up $0.00

Zed Run: (sucks)

Only was able to grind 1 XP Boost — helped out by the fact that I was allowed to Borrow 2 new Horses from the weird Borrowing Farm yesterday.

The XP market is looking a little rough. Very concerned the bottom may be about to fall out.

Zed Run – up $0.98

Day 2 Summary:

Total for Day 2: Up $1.56

In total, the Challenge Bankroll stands at:

  • $22.07
  • 6 Zed Horses

Managing to come out $1.56 in the positive with another crushing IRL Horse loss is pretty solid.

I need to get a lot smarter with the amounts here because we’re basically throwing things against the wall if I don’t use better Bankroll management.
