Back in the positive on Day 16!
I’m going to discuss my nasty PF Wagering habit below … but other than that, it was a really great day.
Hopefully, I can make it all the way until Day 30 (or farther) before we do that whole negative thing again. Let’s get to it!
Day 16 (Feb. 20th, 2024) Results:
Day 16 started off with a Bankroll of $406.36, 2 Photo Finish Horses and 7 Zed Run Horses.
The “Sweepstakes” Casinos are an automatic daily bonus, easy enough to start there.
Sweeps Casinos:
Actually, the Sweeps were not automatic for me on Day 15.
I had to ‘reset’ on Pulsz and Stake (they have a 24-hour reset, so eventually you will miss a day or 2) and Chumba was another Blackjack L.
So… this section is actually a complete 0.

Pokerstars:
Here’s where I got some positive traction! I hit my Roulette spin for $1, then hit a $2 spin on my Daily Bonus spins, and then grinded out an extremely intense $1 Spin & Go for a $3 win… (I was down to 40 chips at one point, take my word for it, I had no business winning this one)

FanDuel Sportsbook/Casino:
Had something truly heartbreaking happen… I was driving to pick up my son and forgot to put in my $2 wager. The favorite won — which cost me $2.40 in hypothetical profit. 🙁 On the plus side, my son got to leave daycare.

DraftKings Sportsbook/Casino:
Yuck.
Lost both of these:
- Southampton ML , O2.5 Goals (-$1.00)
- St Marys -7 (-$2.00)
Also have a boosted pending bet on Tony Finau to win the Mexican Open. ($0.50 to win $6.00)

Reading all the complaints in Gen Chat makes me laugh. That is all.
Also, saw some tweets asking ‘what’s the difference between ZR and PF’. HA. How long have you got??

Photo Finish Live:
Finally, my PF Races that I had already registered for got to run today. The CROWN gifts are SWEET with CROWN pumping — I have $39.83 more in CROWN than when I started yesterday.
However, my Horses came in 3rd and 4th Place respectively, so I didn’t get much DERBY back from the entries.
I ALSO HAVE A TERRIBLE HABIT TO BREAK. I AM LOSING LEFT AND RIGHT WAGERING ON PHOTO FINISH AND I AM ANGRY SO I AM TYPING IN ALL CAPS.
Threw $10 right down the gutter trying different strategies and trying to capitalize on what I think is other people’s poor understanding of parimutuel pools.
I’m going to be a lot more careful and try to keep it to a $2-3 per day max just like when I was losing on FanDuel a lot at the beginning of the Challenge.
2 Races scheduled again for tomorrow too!

ESPN Bet:
I lost on my $1 slot, but I picked up that dollar from playing my $5 casino cashback and then cashed out a 4-leg Parlay that had a bunch of -2000 type bets and the Iowa ML last night for a $3.74 profit!

It’s a simple ‘hodl’ day for DNA Racing.

Coinbase:
Between creating my graph and looking at my Balances, Crypto fell like 1%… Not sure the best way to report this Section to you all.

Day 16 Summary:
If I had self-control and could stop betting on PF Races, it would’ve been an amazing day.
For now, we’ll settle for the $19 gain due to CROWN ripping and hitting a few small lucky bets. Definitely left a lot on the table today.
